Homemade Organic Chocolate

This is so easy and super fast to make, especially if you’re having a chocolate craving. All natural and healthy ingredients, I love it when you know what’s in your food.

1/4 cup of organic coconut oil

1/4 cup of good quality organic cocoa

2 Tablespoons of Pure Maple Syrup

Optional: adding any extra such as; nuts salted or raw, sprinkle of Celtic salt for that sweet and salty taste. You can also add shredded coconut, raisins, currents etc. Experiment and see what you come up with.

How to: In a sauce pan on Medium heat, add all ingredients and stir until melted. Careful not to boil. Have a 8 X 8 square tin or glassware lined with parchment paper. Pour the chocolate onto parchment paper, with a spoon move the almonds (or whatever nut you chose) so they are spread out evenly. Put into the freezer for approx. 20 minutes, remove, break into pieces and enjoy. Any left overs can be put into freezer or fridge.
